  • “Thank you very much indeed for your very generous commitment of continued support to the Air Cadet Organisation...I am very grateful for your support to the Air Cadet Organisation and your financial support will significantly help me achieve my 'Vision' for the ACO. Finally I believe that closer ties across the RAF 'footprint' can only serve to strengthen all of our individual organisations.”

  • “I would like to take this chance to thank the RAF Charitable Trust and yourself for the grant that you have supplied to the Cadets of Expedition Jubilee Eagle. This grant has made the expedition far more affordable for the cadets and has allowed some of the cadets from the less advantaged areas of Middlesex Wing to participate.

This expedition is the first joint adventure training expedition between the UK and Africa, giving a life changing experience to cadets from both countries. The expedition will leave a permanent legacy, as we will be refurbishing a school on the North East of Ghana and setting up a store of adventure training equipment for the Ghanian Cadets to use after the expedition. We will also be celebrating Ghanan' Fiftieth Anniversary of Independence.

Thanks you again for the support that trust has given to the Expedition.”
Flight Lieutenant RAFVR (T), Officer Commanding Expedition Jubilee Eagle

  • “I am an ex Air Cadet and was recently awarded a RAFCT flying scholarship to follow on from the basic Air Cadet Pilot Scholarship. In March I travelled to Dundee to undertake the training, and I am pleased to report that after 22h 55 funded by yourselves I successfully completed the NPPL flying syllabus, along with all the required ground exams. I would like to thank you all very much for the generous donations of the funds required to pay for this training, as without it I would not have been able to complete the syllabus.

I am nearing the end of a mathematics degree at the University of Bath, and am also a member of Bristol University Air Squadron, as a pilot bursar. Subject to continuing medical fitness I have a provisional entry date to Initial Officer Training this coming November, for pilot. I hope to be able to use the training provided by the Trust to benefit me during elementary flying training and enhance my hopes of being streamed fast jets.

Once more, I would like to express my gratitude for your generous sponsorship.”
